Although one should avoid boiling this herb as it gives off a bitter taste, Mustard Seeds offer assistance to the digestive system by enhancing digestion, dispersing phlegm (food allergies), and dissolving and expectorating excess mucus. It’s rich in Vitamins C & E, along with selenium, and omega-3 fatty acids, which help in the reduction of systemic inflammation.
